Native son, Jeff Hines, and his wife, the former Merry Nelson, both from Ellsworth Wisconsin acquired the Red Barn Restaurant and Antique Store in 2003.  After extensive remodeling to create a large meeting/banquet facility that will accommodate 450 guests, they currently operate one of the leading attractions in the area. 

Merry devotes her attention to operating the Red Barn Cafe which specializes in country style cuisine.  Additionally, Merry runs a weekly cooking seminar on Monday evenings with new themes each week.  The banquet facility is often used by Jeff where he and his father Jack Hines conduct local consignment auctions. 

In addition to the banquet hall and cafe there is a full service convenience store associated with the property that is open seven days a week.
