  Tuesday's 3:00 - 6:00 and Saturday's 7:00 - 12:00.  Northwest corner of second and Locust Street, River Falls. 

Sept. 5-7 - Prescott Daze

 

Crowning of the Prescott Ambassador’s on Thursday evening.  Friday activities at the Fire Hall and a Street Dance on the waterfront.  Saturday includes a fishing contest, arts/crafts fair downtown and a classic car show.  Saturday night there is a Fireman’s Dance at the Fire Hall  Sunday afternoon the weekend wraps up with a   grand Parade.  Prescott Chamber of Commerce

Sept. 9 - Art on the Kinni

 

Featuring works of artists of many disciplines displayed along banks of famous Kinnickinnic River in Downtown River Falls.   Live music, food and artist demonstrations.  Community Arts Base, www.riverfallscab,org or www.pressenter.com/~artkinni

September 9 - Kinni River Run - 25K

 

The run starts at the University of Wisconsin, river Falls campus and ends at Willow River State Park.  The course is mostly flat with several gentle rolling hills, the run is well supported with water stops,  Exhibits and seminars precede the day before the race at the pack  pick up.  There is a pre-event pasta dinner, post run party with awards to the first three male and female runners in each division,  All finishers receive a long sleeve shirt.  Transportation to the start is available.  To register or to volunteer please contact the RF Chamber Office,  715-425-2533.    www.rfchamber.com or www.kw20.org

September 12 - One Reading-Two Authors

 

Minneapolis writer and former social worker Marie Sheppard Williams, author of "The Worldwide Church of the Handicapped," and "The God Stories," reads and talks about her writing.  Also local poet Thomas R. Smith reads from his latest volume, "Waking before Dawn."  Free, River Falls Library, time 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

September 13 - Snowmobile Meet and Show

 

Pierce County Snowmobile Club meet and show at the Gas-Lite, 715-273-4839.

TBD - Spring Valley Dam Days

 

Tractor pull, horse pull, live music, food & craft vendors, carnival, kids games.  Sunday afternoon parade 2 pm.  Contact Tony, 715-778-5600

Sept. 13 - Annual Ellsworth Rod & Gun Club Pheasant Benefit

 

Prime Rib dinner, trap shooting, auction, raffles, silent auction and games,  All proceeds go to the pheasant  release program, stream improvement and habitat restoration.  Ellsworth Rod & Gun Club

September 20-21 - Annual Circle K Orchard Apple Festival

 

Free admission.  Civil War Encampment,  variety of foods, including apple brats, buffalo burgers, chuck wagon chili, chicken, apple & Cider tasting, wagon rides with tour of orchard, petting zoo, live music, tours of nearby Buffalo Ranch.  Live cooking show both days.  http://circle-k-orchard.com

September 21 - Annual Autumn Trek Bicycle Tour

 

Sponsored by River Valley Trail, featuring four planned rides ranging from 24 mi. to 85 mi. starting from Hoffman Park in River Falls  WI.  Door prizes, T-shirts and refreshments available.  Entry fee required.  Contact Marian Webber, 715-386-6649
